SCHEDULING A SHOOT:
Once you have chosen the type of shoot you would like to have, we will discuss any extra services or packages you would like to combine. We will then officially schedule you and prepare a contract. We take your shoot day very seriously & require a certain amount of custom for-you-preparation, therefore, all shoots require a minimum of a 40% deposit at time of booking, this guarantees both of us are committed to our time together. Your deposit can be paid via cash, credit card payment over the phone or email. Cancellations MUST take place before 48 hours (or 2 days) before shoot or a $25 fee incurs to reschedule.

PREPARING FOR YOUR SHOOT:
If you have not ordered make up and hair styling assistance from us, you will need to come to the shoot photo ready, which means hair and make up should already be in place. Your scheduled time only includes actual picture taking and wardrobe changes, not so much 'getting ready' time. If you are female, even if you are not a 'make up' person, we HIGHLY recommend that you apply/have make up applied, for your photo shoot. Even when achieving a natural look, make up is extremely helpful and reduces touch up time. We also encourage all clients to email us a recent photo of themselves so we can customize our lighting specifically for YOUR SKIN TONE.

THE DAY OF YOUR SHOOT:
Our first and foremost goal for every client is to make you comfortable and feeling like you're at home. Our staff and photographer is warm and friendly, and will make sure you are relaxed and ready before we begin the shoot. We provide our customers with complimentary bottled water, make up for touch ups if desired, and hairspray. It is VERY important that you be on time for your session, up to (a max) of 15 minutes early. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you risk having to be rescheduled.

THE STUDIO SPACE:
The studio space is 11' x 11' and made up of 2 black draped walls, an exposed brick wall, and white, grey backdrops. We shoot using a combination of hard wood floors, a podium, chairs, a couch, and a futon bed and pillows for Boudoir sessions. If you have an idea ahead of time how you would like to use the space, please let us know what YOU prefer. We also have purple and red satin materials, and sheer drape like materials that we use for filters and ambiance.

AFTER YOUR SHOOT:
Upon completing your photography session, your photos will be uploaded to a secure, web gallery within 5 business days, where you can view your photos and choose your photos for touching up. Once you have chosen your touch ups, please allow an extra 5 business days to complete.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR DURING MY SHOOT?
If you are having casual PORTRAITS done, we recommend NO FULL black, and NO FULL white wardrobes, as we generally shoot on a white and/or black background. You can certainly MIX black and whites, or put colored garments under or over black or white. (for instance a black blazer is fine over a colored or white shirt) If you are having corporate or professional photos taken, any color preference will do if we are using our standard grey background.

HOW MUCH IS THE PHOTO DISC & WHEN DO I RECEIVE IT?
The SAME day of your shoot you have the opportunity to purchase a disc of ALL photos taken at the session for $50 extra. If you decide to purchase the disc AFTER you leave the studio, the disc is $65.00. Your disc will be mailed within 2 days of any touch up completion we may be doing for you. Please note that we mail photo discs & prints first class mail (NO TRACKING) If you would like your items tracked there is an additional $10 fee. We are not responsible for items lost in the mail. You are always welcome to pick up the disc at the studio by appointment to ensure you receive everything.

CAN I BRING MY OWN THUMB DRIVE AND HAVE MY PHOTOS THE SAME DAY RIGHT AFTER THE SHOOT?
Yes and no. The photos must be "processed" before they are shown to the client entirely, meaning we go through the photos first, and correct blurry photos, lighten and brighten, etc. "Processing" photos can take up to 5 business days after your shoot unless you choose to pay for a rush processing. You can leave your thumb drive with us and we can certainly give you all the photos from the shoot on your own drive, but the fee is still $50 as you will still be paying for access to all the photos.

IF I AM A MALE, DO I NEED TO WEAR MAKE UP FOR A SHOOT?
No. Males generally have different features that can more easily be corrected in editing.

CAN I BRING SOMEONE TO THE STUDIO WITH ME FOR SUPPORT?
We so allow one person to accompany you to the studio. It is a small and intimate space, therefore we need to keep distractions to a minimum. There are no unsupervised children allowed in the studio and all minors must be accompanied by an adult.
